Action Forum and Area Marketing

The last several weeks, more than 100 people in the Thief River Falls area have been working on an effort to recruit new residents. The project, TRF Making It Home, followed the process developed by University Extension, Marketing Hometown America. The message is that the Thief River Falls area is a great place to live and a great place to raise a family. A marketing campaign is in development, leveraging the newly adopted community tagline “where two rivers meet.”

A taskforce will be working on details of the campaign. The TRF Making It Home steering committee is encouraging all area residents to get involved in the effort by liking, following, and sharing social media posts that will be rolled out over the next several months.
