Deadline for Applications is June 15

The application period has now officially opened for the Initiators Fellowship, a two-year program that supports social entrepreneurism in greater Minnesota.

The Initiators Fellowship gives next-generation leaders the tools and resources to accelerate their entrepreneurial and leadership skills. The fellowship provides wrap-around training, mentoring and guidance – plus $30,000 annually for two years.

The application period will close at noon on June 15th. Apply now!

What is social entrepreneurism?

Social enterprises are ventures that use profit for good, regardless of their business structure. While most business owners aim to provide jobs, and many donate to charity, social entrepreneurs have identified a social issue and build their enterprise with social impact at the core of their business model.

About the Initiators Fellowship

The Initiators Fellowship fosters the development of a social enterprise, a venture with social or environmental good built into the mission and operations of the business. Applicants must have a project that will impact the community and wider region. Those chosen for the cohort must be driven to create and innovate and be ready to develop their leadership skills.
