Advance Thief River Launches Campaign to Address Childcare Shortage

Thief River Falls, MN – Advance Thief River is proud to announce the launch of a fundraising campaign aimed at raising $100,000 to support and revitalize the local childcare ecosystem. The campaign has already garnered significant support, with generous contributions of $10,000 from the Dondelinger Foundation and $7,500 from the Hartz Foundation.

Advance Thief River Receives $45,000 Grant from Northwest Minnesota Foundation to Foster Welcoming Communities

Advance Thief River is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $45,000 grant by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation as part of their Welcoming Communities program. This significant investment aims to enhance the inclusion of newcomers and underrepresented community members within Thief River Falls.

Promise Act Grants Available

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation will soon be accepting grant applications from small businesses and nonprofits to invest in existing operations or planned growth. Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded.

New Childcare Center

Discovery Place is establishing a new childcare facility at Valley Assisted Living in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. The expansion will create space for 156 children and varying hours of operation.
