Here in Minnesota, there are several webinars which will be offered (in partnership with the North and South Dakota SBA offices) to help your Veteran-owned small business start and grow. Registration details in the links below.

Doing Business with the VA and Veteran Verification
Nov. 2, 9 a.m.; Register

Learn how the VA buys, what they buy and how you can participate. The Veterans Health Administration has a Veterans First Contracting Program to qualify Service Disabled Veteran and Veteran Owned Small ­Businesses must be verified through the Center for Verification and Evaluation this session will give a brief overview of the application and review process. This verification is a requirement to purchase surplus property.

Boots to Business Reboot
Nov. 2, 9 a.m.; Register

Boots to Business Reboot is for Veterans of all eras, service members (including members of the National Guard and Reserves), and their spouses, who are interested in starting a business. This introductory course provides an overview of the opportunities and challenges of business ownership. During the class, you will learn business fundamentals and techniques for evaluating the feasibility of your business concepts.

Surplus Personal Property for Veteran-Owned Small Business
Nov. 3, 9 a.m.; Register

Certain veteran-owned small businesses have access to federally-owned surplus personal property. Find out what that means for you in this 2-hour session covering local resources, surplus property program overview, and veteran verification. To purchase surplus property, firm needs to be approved thru the VA vetbiz.gov certification – see November 2nd doing business with the va webinar information for further details.

Procurement Equity Summit: Positioning MN Veteran-Owned Businesses for Success in Government Contracting
Nov 4, 9 a.m.; Register

This one day event will offer: an overview of the state’s contracting with Veteran owned businesses and more to help you gain information on how to better position yourself for government contracting.
