The public education system in Thief River Falls includes Challenger Elementary, Franklin Middle School and Lincoln High School. The district’s graduation rate is 8 percentage points higher than that of the state overall and 73% of Lincoln High School graduates are enrolled in an institution of higher education 16 months after finishing high school. Northland Community and Technical College is a comprehensive college, offering many state-of-the-art, nationally-renowned technical programs designed for those looking to quickly join the work force.
