How to Start a Child Care

Thief River Falls Children, Families and Employers NEED YOU!

Child care is important to our community.

If you have considered providing child care this informational session is for you.

WHEN:    Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 6:30 pm

WHERE:  River of Life Church, 1565 HWY 59 S, Thief River Falls  

WHY:       There are multiple options in the field of child care.  You can provide child care in your home.  You can open a family child care business in a space other than your home.  You can partner with someone or be on your own.

WHAT:     Staff from Pennington County Child Care Licensing, Child Care Aware, First Children’s Finance and Northwest Minnesota Foundation will present information on the licensing process, grants to start a child care program, business planning and the financial pieces of a child care business. Staff will be available to answer questions you may have about child care.
