Missy Hall is the vice president of new market development for Digi-Key Electronics and has been with the company for nearly 18 years. Starting in an entry-level inbound sales position, she quickly moved into human resources where she spent five years, then another nine years leading global sales teams and cross-functional corporate initiatives related to international expansion. Missy holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Dakota.

“Not only is Thief River Falls a great place to live and raise a family, it’s also a community with tremendous opportunities for career growth and advancement,” said Missy Hall. “I was born and raised in northwest Minnesota and I’m excited to join the Advance Thief River board and contribute to the great work being done to continue to grow our community.”

Missy was born and raised in nearby Middle River and moved back to northwest Minnesota soon after graduating college. She now resides here in Thief River Falls with her husband Greg, son Jake who is attending college at St. Cloud State University, and son Hudson who is an 8th grader at Franklin Middle School.

“Supporting growth, whether with a specific company or an entire community, takes a focused effort. We believe that Advance Thief River’s economic development efforts are the right vehicle to lead and coordinate efforts among key city and business stakeholders,” said Dave Doherty, president at Digi-Key. “It is in this spirit that we recommend Missy Hall as Digi-Key’s representative on the board of directors, solidifying our partnership and continued commitment to the future of Thief River Falls.”
