Spotlight on Local Entrepreneur: Paula Peterson to Speak at TREK

Thief River Falls’ entrepreneurial community is full of energy and innovation—and few embody that spirit better than Paula Peterson, a local entrepreneur who owns Live Well Vending and Live Well Live Free Essential Oils Consulting.

On Tuesday, November 4, from 8:30–9:30 AM, Paula will be the featured speaker at TREK (Two Rivers Entrepreneur Kinnection), held at the Old Carnegie Library in Thief River Falls. The monthly TREK series highlights local entrepreneurs who share their stories, lessons learned, and inspiration with others who are growing—or dreaming of growing—their own business ventures.

A Lifelong Entrepreneurial Spirit

Paula’s journey in business began early. At just 16, she became an Avon representative and quickly caught what she calls “the entrepreneurial bug.” What started as a way to earn a little money became a lifelong passion for learning, serving others, and building meaningful connections through business.

Over the years, Paula has launched and operated several ventures, each one helping her refine her sense of purpose and community impact. Today, her two current businesses—Live Well Vending and Live Well Live Free Essential Oils Consulting—reflect her commitment to wellness, balance, and helping others live life to the fullest.

More Than Business

Paula approaches life with energy and gratitude. “I have fun in most everything I do—yes, even working!” she says with a smile. When she’s not managing her businesses, Paula can be found spending time with her grandkids, cruising the river on her pontoon, or watching a daily YouTube video to learn something new.

Her curiosity and drive to grow have been the foundation of her success. Whether she’s learning, serving, or teaching, Paula finds fulfillment in lifting others up and sharing what she’s learned along the way.
